PLAN Test

Tenth grade students have the opportunity to take the PLAN test at both Blue Springs and Blue Springs South High School. This is a great opportunity to test our students' knowledge and skills and provide students with an pre-ACT assessment. PLAN tests are scheduled in November each year. Please contact the counseling staff at your high school for additional information.

CTC Fort Osage & Summit Tech

If you have questions regarding tech training students may receive at either Fort Osage CTC or Summit Technology, please see your guidance counselor for details or go to each individual school's website.

The Blue Springs High Schools (Blue Springs High Schook, Blue Springs South High School, Freshman Center and Valley View High School) provide a number of programs to meet the diverse educational needs of our senior high students. The district focuses on career planning through the development of personalized programs of study (available from the link on the left). These plans assist students in making the most of their high school years by helping them select courses that build upon their career goals. The district offers a number of AP, dual credit, articulated credit and career technical programs. 

In addition, students have the ability to choose from a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and sports to enhance and enrich their high school experience.
