*Enrollment is right around the corner for students that are entering kindergarten for 2017-2018 school year. If you have a child that will be 5 prior to August 1, 2017 please mark your calendar with the following dates and times of enrollment:
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24: 9:00-4:00PM 
*Enrollment will take place at VSE. In order to begin the enrollment process you will need to bring the Child's Birth Certificate, Immunizations, Parent Photo ID and two of the following: current utility bills (Electric, Gas, Water, 30 days old or less and no final disconnect notices) or lease agreement (signed by landlord) or mortgage contract (signed by mortgage company) or Mortgage statement 
The enrollment process will not occur unless all of these documents are provided.

Screening appointments will be scheduled at the time of enrollment. 
*If you know any kids in the neighborhood that are eligible for kindergarten next school year please pass on this information.*
Ready, Set, Off to Kindergarten
The Blue Springs School District Parents as Teachers Program, in conjunction with the Early Childhood PTA, are co-sponsoring "Ready, Set, Off to Kindergarten" on Tuesday, February 21, at 7:00p.m. at Cordill-Mason Elementary School (4001 SW Christiansen RD, Blue Springs, MO). During this adult only event, information related to enrollment procedures, school readiness, and the kindergarten experience will be presented by district staff. Registration is not necessary to attend. 
Updating Student Information
Has you email address, phone number, address or other information changed since registration in August? It's very important to updat any information in Parent Portal. Just go to your Parent Portal account , click on E-Registration, make necessary changes and submit. Note, if your address has changed, you must provide the office with a copy of a current utility bill or lease. You can access your Parent Portal through this link: http://pschool.bssd.net/public
